I'm almost crying, and I'm not American. Where abouts in America are you from. With the elections I've realized 90% of my friends live in the US and I have only 1 Canadian friend.
Sorry! In my excitement, I apparently can't distinguish a reply to your comment or a reply to the entry. :D
You're excited that she's Canadian!
;D
I'm in the state that finalized it. California, over on the west coast. I always confuse which friends are where, but I remembered that you were in Canada. What province? I don't think I know that much.
I already cried. *hugs you*
What a great day for history and the US!
The way Jon Stewart said it just filled me with emotion. I felt so honored to be able to share in that moment of history.
Um, I actually did cry when ABC projected him the winner...
It was the way he said it that made me want to cry, but I shortly after went to screaming, telling everyone I was talking to online that we won, and then calling my mom, then my friend down south because she doesn't have TV or internet and I wasn't sure if she knew. Plus I adore her and wanted to share in the moment with her, lol.
I ran outside and joined the mob marching downtown. Can't say I've ever done that before, lol
I didn't cry, but I can't stop smiling and randomly flailing around.
It was the way Jon Stewart delivered it that had me wanting to cry. It was so powerful and I just felt honored to witness that very moment of history.
But after that I started screaming and people were calling me and what not. XD
Yeah, I agree. :D Jon almost snuck it up on you (I watched the episode after I was talking with you). It was really great. This could be the biggest election that any of us will have participated in.
XD it's a good day to be an american.
I literally did cry during his speech, and I do not cry. Man. |
